I love Karbon for workflow management. Tasks are laid out, deadlines are easy to monitor, and information doesn’t get misplaced because every email is easy to attach to related work items.
What personality traits do you have that you think make you a great bookkeeper?
I’m definitely a go-getter! I love to tackle a challenge, analyze solutions, and find a way to get things done accurately in the shortest time possible.
How did you get into this line of work?
A lot of hard work and a little luck – an old boss recognized my potential early on and pulled me from customer service into accounting; within 6 months I was the main go-to person for accounting questions, including training and analysis, and the rest is history!
What is one piece of bookkeeping advice you would give to new business owners and entrepreneurs?
Do your research and employ a reputable firm to help. The right team can advise you on how to handle your books properly, answer questions, and fix mistakes while leveraging the latest tools and technology to help keep your expenses down.
If you were a bookkeeping superhero - what would be your superhero name and why?
